Betty was very strong in her faith and a devoted Catholic. She enjoyed volunteering at St. Helen and working with the "Meals on Wheels" program. Betty was very generous to her church, her family and to those in need. She was truly loved by everyone. Betty always wanted to look her best, she enjoyed shopping, going out to dinner and going gambling with her family. She was affectionately known as "Nanny" to her grandchildren and family and will forever be remembered for her generous spirit and her love of Christmas and it's celebration with her loved ones. Betty will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.
A visitation for Betty will be on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm, with a Rosary recited at 7:00 PM at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581. The funeral service will take place on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at 11:00 AM at St. Helen Catholic Church, 2209 Old Alvin Rd., Pearland, Texas 77581 with Father Jim Courville officiating. Interment will follow at SouthPark Cemetery in Pearland, TX.
