Lynn Bithell
(August 3, 1944 - April 18, 2013)

Lynn Bithell was born on August 3, 1944 in Salt lake City, Utah, son of Charles K. Bithell and Marie Rayduen Bithell.

Lynn was the fifth boy in a family of seven children. He was a graduate of South High School and attended the University of Utah.

Lynn began his working career in the field of electronics. He got his first job working in Buena Park, California during the infancy of the electronics and computing industry. Later he worked for the Federal Government at Hill AFB for many years from which he retired. In addition to HAFB, Lynn was president of Western Care Center and served as a coach and president of a boys Little League Baseball League.

Lynn married Judith Darr in 1964. She was the love of his life and they were married for 49 years. From this union they had three children, a son Paul Bithell and two daughters, Vicky Marcus and Donna Whitney. Family came first to Lynn. He was dedicated to his wife Judy and his children and friends. He had a great sense of exploration and a great sense of humor. British Columbia, Canada was a special place for Lynn. He spent many summer vacations with his brother Dale, family members, and friends on epic fishing adventures.

In retirement Lynn and Judy spent many years living in Arizona during the winter months. Lynn loved the warm Arizona sun and of course his great friends. The snowbird friends were truly treasured. Lynn lived a full life with a "can do absolutely anything" attitude. He will be missed by many.

Lynn is survived by his wife Judy Bithell, three children Paul Bithell, Vicky Marcus and Donna Whitney. Grandchildren: Kandice Smoot, Jake Burningham, Olivia Bithell, Jack Bithell, Kaden Marcus and Dillon Whitney; and one great-grandchild, Payton Smoot.
