Winifred Orwig Taken By Death
Mrs. Winifred Orwig, 62, resident several years on 12th St., at Clarkston, died at 5:50 p.m. yesterday at Tri-State Memorial Hospital.
She was a native of Tennessee.
She had suffered a stroke recently and had been hospitalized since Tuesday.
A daughter, Mrs. Betty Henderson, Route 1, Clarkston, is the only immediate survivor here. Two sons also survive.

Services Pending For Mrs. Orwig
Funeral services for Mrs. Winnifred Orwig, 63, who died of a stroke Wednesday at Tri-State Hospital, are pending the arrival of surviving children from out of town.
Those expected are two sons and two daughters, Robert Orwig of Hermiston, Ore.; Charles Orwig of Spokane; Dorothy Orwig of Long Beach Calif.; and Mrs. Jean Codd of Long Beach, Calif. Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Betty Henderson, of Clarkston and nine grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Winnifred Orwig were conducted yesterday morning at 10 at the Hazen-Jaeger Gothic Chapel at Spokane.
Cremation followed.
