Nellie E. Moyer, 81, of Saylorsburg R.2, formerly of Long Pond, died Friday in the home of her daughter, Louella Warner of Saylorsburg R.2. Moyer was the wife of Raymond Moyer. They would have been married 64 years this month.
She was a post master in Long Pond for 29 years, retiring in 1975.
Born in Pocono Lake, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Mellie (Burger) Argot.
She was a member of Pocono Lake Wesleyan Church.
Survivors: Husband and daughter; sons, Robert of Snydersville, James of East Stroudsburg, Joseph of Pocono Lake, and Glen of Long Pond; sister, Alma Kush of Bethlehem; 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
