Hazel Leona Sutton, age 76, of Harrison, passed away on December 9, 1993, at her residence.
She was born on July 24, 1917, in Saginaw, the daughter of Herbert and Annabelle (Gronda) Carr. She married Albert H. Roland who preceded her in death on August 8, 1979. She then married Harold Sutton on July 3, 1953, in Harrison.
Surviving are her husband, Harold, of Harrison. Two daughters, Kathy and Graig Teal of Holt, and Carol Price of Florida; three sons, William and Susan Roland of Harrison, James Roland of Harrison, and Roger and Joan Roland of Lansing: one foster daughter, Kay and Dick Wilson of Harrison; two sisters, Mary Travis of Harrison and Jewell Rickard of Lake City; three brothers, Albert Carr of Kalkaska, Charles Carr of Sanford, and Glenn Carr of Lansing; 16 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, one daughter, three brothers, one sister, one grandson, and one great granddaughter.
Funeral services were held on December 13 from Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison, with Elder Dale Beavers officiating. Interment was in Hillcrest (Greenwood Township) Cemetery, Harrison. Clare Sentinel dated 12-21/1993
