Mrs. Catherine Byrd Grace, 71, of Wiggins, beloved wife and mother, died June 11, 1999, at Memorial Hospital in Gulfport, after a lengthy illness. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday at Moore Funeral Home in Wiggins, with interment in the Evergreen Cemetery in Gulfport. The Rev. Don Myers will officiate.
Born in Gulfport, Mrs. Grace had lived in Wiggins for the past 26 years, where she owned and operated The Country Store. She was a member of Big Level Baptist Church.
Mrs. Grace was preceded in death by two sons, Richard L. Grace and Gary R. Grace; and her parents, Mack Byrd and Bert and Bessie Charlton.
Survivors include her husband, Lloyd Grace of Wiggins; sons and daughters-in-law, Larry K. and Pamela Cruthirds Grace of Wiggins, Terry C. and Norah Grace of Lucedale, and April R. Grace of Wiggins; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
