He had nine brothers and two sisters. W.R., Jessie, Lloyd, Woodie, Orval, Vernon, Mary, Charlie, Bennie and Johnnie all preceded him in death. He is survived by his sister Lillie Belle.
He served in the United States Navy as a Third Class Petty officer on the heavy destroyer, USS Theodore E Chandler DD717.
He worked for Farmers Insurance as an agent and a District Manager for 45 years. He was a great mentor to many agents throughout his career.
He and his family spent nearly every summer at Huntington Lake with his brothers, sisters and numerous neices and nephews. It was a time to reconnect with family members. He will be missed by everyone he knew and loved.
