Schilke, Vivian: Vivian Schilke, 81, Denmark, passed away at her home Friday, Sept. 15, 2006, after fighting her third battle with cancer. Vivian was born Nov. 13, 1924, in Pulcifer, to the late James Sr. and Mabel (Hansen) Horsens. She grew up on the family farm and graduated from Gillett High School. On June 19, 1948, she married her husband of 58 years, Melvin C. Schilke at Bethel Lutheran Church in Green Valley.
