"Jennie" is buried at the side of her husband: Knut Peder Knutsen, from Sannidal, Telemark, Norway. [Norwegian spellings of the family name include: "Peterson" AKA "Petersen", derived from the second middle-name of Knut Peder (Peter) Knutsen".] They were married in Norway. They resided in Chicago after immigration to USA in 1853. She died at 503 Lincoln Avenue, Chicago. At that time, 503 was also a Furniture Store operated by son, John Charles Peterson. Knut was buried on June 19, 1898. Cook County Report of Death, record: 11322, 662. Death certificate signed and completed 17 June 1889. She died on 24 March 1892. Cook County, Physician's Certificate of Death, record: 14304, 4188. Death certificate signed and completed 24 March, 1892. Her burial took place on 05 April 1892, following the death of grand-daughter, Grace Myrtle Peterson (child, aged 2 years, 1 month, and 8 days - daughter-in-law Bertha Gielow Peterson's last child). The only marker is that of her son, "John C Peterson" and "Bertha (Gielow) Peterson". Cemetery records specify the exact location of his burial, and implicate that the Norwegian spelling of the family name was: "Pedersen", which mutated into "Pederson" AKA "Peterson".
