George A. Thurman, 91, died Wednesday morning at a Clearmont, Mo rest home where he had been a resident for several years. His home had been at Bolckow, Mo, before coming to the rest home.
He was born March 20, 1884, near Blockton, the son of Francis and Mary McCalla Thurman. He was married to Ina Wilma Burdick, who died in 1938. Later he was married to Bessie Squires, who died in 1957.
Funeral services for Mr Thurman will be at 2 pm Saturday at Walker Funeral Home with Loren Daly of New Market officiating. Carolyn Hughes will be soloist and Grace Perry organist. Burial will be in Clarinda cemetery.
