Annamary Beck
age 86, of Van Buren Township, Michigan passed away Friday April 5, 2013 at St. Joseph Hospital. She was raised and went to school in Ohio, and was the daughter of the late Hollis & Annabell (Cook) Sterrett.
Annamary is survived by her husband Jim Beck, four children; Todd (Mary Anna) Beck of Moundsville, West Virginia, Michael (Janine) Beck of Atwater, Ohio, Jeffrey (Judy) Beck of Brighton, Michigan, Scott (Toni) Beck of Los Angeles, California, eight grandchildren; Jeffrey (Heather) Beck, Amy Beck, Jared (Stephanie) Beck, April (Jeff) Markov, Richard (Sara) Beck, Simon Beck, Kristy Beck, Hollis Beck, eight great-grandchildren, and a sister Audrey Pittenger of Lisbon, Ohio. She is preceded in death by a sister, Helen Evans.
Annamary was one of the founding members of the Presbyterian Church located in Belleville, Michigan. She was a first grade teacher for Van Buren Public schools for 22 years. Annamary enjoyed driving the boys to Ohio to visit the family, and taking the boys to and from concerts and sporting events that they participated in.
Visitation will be Friday, April 12, 2013 from 2-5 P. M. At David C. Brown Temporary Viewing Chapel, 500 E. Huron River Dr., Belleville, MI 48111. Funeral service will be held Saturday, April 13, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. At the Belleville Presbyterian Church 11900 Belleville Rd., Belleville, MI 48111. Interment will follow at Michigan Memorial Park, Flat Rock, Michigan.
