Parrino, Angelo 87 of Tampa, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at John Knox Village in Tampa. Angelo was born Tuesday, October 15, 1925 in Alessandria Della Rocca, Sicily, Italy and moved to Ybor City in 1963. Angelo retired from Westshore Glass after many years of service. He was a member of Nuova Scilia lodge #1251. Angelo was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Zambito Parrino, his parents Carlo and Maria Giuseppa Parrino, brothers; Giuseppe and Salvatore as well as his sisters Rosina and Angelina. Survivors include his Nephews, Dr. Gino Parrino and Gianni Parrino, Niece, Maria Parrino all in Italy. Cousins: Rose, Annie, Lorraine Parrino and Stefano Chillura, Rosalia Urso and Nicola Chillura all of Tampa, with many more other cousins too numerous to mention. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday from the chapel of Blount Curry Terrace Oaks, with entombment to follow at L'Unione Italiana Cemetery Mausoleum. Pallbears include Frank Chillura, Tony Castellano, Salvatore Urso, Nicola Chillura, Stefano Chillura and Frank Chillura. The family wants to thank the staff at John Knox for their special care and attention. Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to USF Health, Byrd Alzheimer's Institute, 4001 E.
