Annette was 4 months old when the 1860 census was taken on June 29, 1860. She and her sisters Lizzie and Ellen were not found in the Eseke home. They were living up the road with the William Jefferies family. Perhaps Bernard and Sarah were ill. They were found at the bottom of the same page. By the time the 1870 census was taken Annette was no longer living. She may have been buried in the Walcott Cem.
