"Pistol" was born on June 23, 1924 in Whitney to George and Clara Lee
Boswell. On July 11, 1952, he married Mattie Nell Bonds, and she preceded
him in death on January 21, 2005.

A farmer and rancher, he worked for a time at the Glen Rose Nuclear Plant.
He also served his country in the U.S. Army.

He loved to sing gospel music, loved his family and friends and raising
cattle. Larry never met a stranger and could always remember everything
about everybody!

He was a member of Fairview Baptist Church of Clifton.

Survivors include:

daughter, Marsha Brown and her husband, Eddie, of Clifton and son, Larry
Logan Boswell and his wife, Jill, of Fort Davis, Texas;

two brothers, Joe Boswell and Ed "Bully" Boswell, both of Whitney;

two sisters, Frances Halford of Dallas, and Dell Bonds of Whitney;

Four grandchildren - Capt. Allen Brown of Fort Hood, Zach Brown of
Clifton,
Chesley Boswell, and Wesley Boswell of Fort Davis, Texas.
