Mrs. Roxie Hodges, 64, died late yesterday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J.B. Nettles, 2419 Lakawanna Avenue , after a long illness. Mrs. Hodges was a native of Charleston County GA coming to Jacksonville about three years ago from Baker County. She was a member of the Methodist Church. Those who survive her are three daughters, Mrs. Susan Mulligan of Hagan, GA, Mrs. Matilda Garrett of Marietta Ave., and Mrs. J.B. Nettles (Zilpha) of 2419 Lackawanna Avenue. One sister, Mrs. Hennie Garrett of Lawtey and two brothers, Josh Hogan of MacClenny and Rufus Hogan of Genora. Funeral services will be conducted this afternoon at 3 o'clock from the home. The Rev Walter J Meade, past of the Woodlawn Baptist Church, will officiate. Internment will be in the Gravely Hill Cemetery under direction of the Seashole Funeral Parlors.
