GREAT BEND - Alice Margheim, 90, died Jan.
23, 1998, at Integrated Health Services,
Great Bend.
She was born March 7,1907, in rural Bison,
the daughter of George and Katherine Gillig Kleweno.
A resident of Great Bend since 1974, moving
from Bazine, she was a homemaker.
She was a member of Trinity United Methodist
Church, Great Bend, a Sunday school teacher
and a life member of the United Methodist
Women of Bazine and a member of Priscilla
Circle at the church in Great Bend.
On Aug. 10, 1927, she married Fred J.
Margheim at Bazine. He died Feb. 3,1990.
Survivors include: a daughter, Betty Betz,
Bazine; a brother, Ruben Kleweno, Wichita;
two sisters, Inez Royer, LaCroase, and
Tillie Martin, Ness City; two grandchildren;
and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers,
Herman and Ralph Kleweno, and two sisters,
Lelah Robertson and an infant sister.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at
Trinity United Methodist Church, Great Bend,
with Pastor R. Loney Kuhn presiding.
Graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m.
Monday in the Bazine Cemetery. Memorials
