Mrs. Permelia Monroe

Mrs. Permelia Monroe died Friday afternoon in the
Moses-Ludington Hospital at Ticonderoga.
A resident of Brant Lake, Mrs. Monroe was a member
of St. Paul's Episcopal Church here.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Lester Johnson
of Glens Falls, Mrs. Lawrence Pratt of Brant Lake, and
Mrs. Harold Miller of Yorktown Heights; eight sons,
Charles, Peter, Lawrence and Albert, all of Brant Lake,
Kenneth of Pottersville, Beecher of Ausable Forks,
Hiram of Vergesnes, Vt., and Mark of Glens Falls;
a sister, Mrs. Harry Church of Troy; two brothers,
Albert. and Paul Wilcox of Brant Lake; 19 grandchildren,
16 great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews,
and cousins.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at
St. Paul's Episcopal Church by the Rev. T. J, Chase, rector.
Burial was In Brant Lake Cemetery.
