Services for Lillie Mae Simmons, 86, will be at 2 p.m. today at Bowlin Funeral Home in Dresden. Burial will be in the Sunset Cemetery. Mrs. Simmons a homemaker died Sunday at home of cancer. She was preceded in death by one sister, and seven brothers, Mattie Cloar, Horace McWherter, Evans McWherter, Ernest McWherter, Travis McWherter, Basil McWherter, Launis McWherter, and Webb McWherter. She is survived by two daughters Pamela Jones of Dresden and Caffie Ross of Beech Bluff.
