According to the Tennessee Valley Authority,Donie Petree was originally buried in Sweat Cemetery in Union County. She was relocated to Bakers Forge Memorial Cemetery in 1934, as part of TVA's Norris Dam grave relocation project. TVA lists her cause of death as 'TB', & her birth/death years as 1891/1916.
