My grandmother was born in the small town of Lavon, Texas. She met her first husband, Wilkins Brown when he came there to visit friends. They married and had four children Desha, Juanita, Dick and Earl. He passed away in 1913 or 14. She remarried later to a man by the last name of Price, he also preceded her in death. She lived with her blind son Dick until her death.
