Barbara's Children (Randy, Linna and Micheal Scarlett) and many of her nieces and nephews honored her request to have her ashes scattered in the wheat fields near her childhood home, near Winfield, Cowley County Kansas. They located a beautiful field near Highland Cemetery so that she would be near her father (Noah Franklin Hoshaw and her infant daughter (who is buried with her father Noah)
Her memorial services took place at Cochran Funeral Home is Wichita Kansas.
