Mrs. Georgia Hughes, 84, of Paintsville, died in a local hospital on November 14, 1974 after a brief illness.

Born October 6, 1890, she was the daughter of the late William And Julina Meeks Bowling and was a member of the United Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by three husbands, David Daniels, Linzie Blevins and Jack Hughes.

Surviving are four sons, Frank B. Daniels and Charles Ray Daniels, both of Goochland, Va., and Lloyd Daniels and Floyd Daniels, both of Columbus; four daughters, Addie Daniels and Ruby Daniels, both of Paintsville; Ada Kitts of Mansfield, Ohio and Helen Lyons of Bakersfield, California; one sister, Goldie Maynard of Staffordsville; one brother, Grover Bowling of Ohio and 31 grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Hughes were held Sunday, November 17, in the chapel of the Preston Funeral Home with elders C. J. Sparks and O. I. Williams officiating.

Burial was in the Forest Preston Cemetery at River with arrangements under the direction of the Preston Funeral Home.
