Basil Alexander Pickett, 65, of Indian Head, Md., died October 29, 1991, in Washington, D.C. He was born in Carroll County, Virginia, February 19, 1926, to Elizabeth Sallie Grimes Pickett and Oscar Wiley Pickett.
Survivors are: three daughters, Linda Bryant, Agnes Anderson and Ann Potuk, one son, Larry Pickett, seven grandchildren, all of Maryland, one sister, Sylvia Pickett Lawson and one brother, Maynard Pickett, both of Austinville. Funeral was held at Huntt Chapel, November 1 with the Rev. George Ennis officiating. Interment followed in the Trinity Memorial Gardens in Waldorf, Md.
