PETER WINRICK DEAD
D. Dennehy received a telegram
yesterday morning announcing the
death of his father-in-law, Peter Winrick,
at Wheatfield, Indiana.
Mr. Winrick was one of the old settlers
in Gage county, and resided near Holmesville,
though he has been making his home in Indiana
for the past several years. Mr. Winrick is
73 years old, and leaves a large family of
children, among them Baty and Frank Winrick
and Mrs. D. Dennehy of this city.
The remains will reach here over the Rock
Island tomorrow afternoon, and will be taken
to the Dunkard burying ground near Holmesville
by team the same evening for interment in the
family lot.

Peter Wenrick was a distinguished Union Civil War Soldier,
serving from 20 Aug 1861 to 9 Jun 1865.
