Samuel Cerniglia of S. 12th St., died Sunday morning at 8 in the St. Joseph Hospital, where he was a patient since Aug. 21. Born in Reading, he was a son of Carl and Catherine (Natoli) Cerniglia, of Reading. Cerniglia was employed as a custodian by the Reading School District for 10 years. He was a member of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church and the Italian Sons and Daughters Association. Surviving in addition to his parents are a brother, and three sisters all of Reading. Funeral will be Thursday at 9 a.m. in the Kopicki Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be sung at 9:30 a.m. in St. Peter's Church Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale.
