Calogero "Carl" Cerniglia, 94, of S. 12th St., died Sunday morning in St. Joseph Medical Center, where he had been a patient for one day. He was the husband of Catherine (Natoli) Cerniglia. Born in Santo Stefano, Di Commanstra, Italy, he was a son of the late Samuel and Franceses Cerniglia. Cerniglia had been employed for 25 years by Frank Ferrara & Son Inc., West Lawn, retiring in 1968. He was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, Reading. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, and three daughters. Other survivors include two grandsons and two great-grandsons. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. in St. Peter Church. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale. Kopicki-Bradley Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
