Peter BECKER born 17 November 1854 in Neu Freudental, Odessa, South Russia was the son of Jacob BECKER and Anna Maria BERRETH.

Peter married Elisabeth LAUT on the 13 January 1881 in Worms, Beresan, Odessa, South Russia. The couple was blessed with no less than 11 children; Rosina, Peter, Christina, Johann, Heinrich, Samuel, Frederick, Marie, Emma, Martha and William.

Peter at the age of 34, with his wife Elisabeth and their children; Rosina, Peter, Christina, Johann and Heinrich, immigrated to America via the Port of Bremen, Germany aboard the SS "Aller" and arrived at the Port of New York, New York on the 11th of May 1889.

The Peter BECKER family settled on a 160 acre homestead in McIntosh County, North Dakota (¼ of Sec 24, Twp 132N, Rge 69W, W5).
