SEBRING - Former Sebring resident Catherine D. Mueller, 89, a resident of McCrea Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Alliance, died at 3:35 p.m. Thursday at Alliance Community Hospital following a long illness.
Miss Mueller was born Sept. 11, 1904, in Alliance, to Pius and Frances Grafinger Mueller, and lived in the area all of her life. She was employed by Limoges China for 35 years, and also worked as an assistant cook in the dietary department of Salem Community Hospital for 13 years.
Miss Mueller was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church, Altar and Rosary Society, Sebring Senior Citizens and Golden Agers.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Theresia Hall, and five brothers. George, Henry, Carl, Paul and William Mueller. Many nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews survive.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Ann's Church with the Rev. John W. Schmidt officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery.
Friends may call any time after 3 p.m. Sunday at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home where the family will be present from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, and where a prayer service will be conducted at 8:30 p.m. Sunday.
