Mrs. Jane C. Rhodes died August 27, of heart trouble, at the age of 65 years, 4 months, and 13 days.
She was married to Wesley Rhodes on October 15, 1883. This union was blessed with six children, two boys and four girls. They are Phillip, Maude, now Mrs. Ben Kemna, Ada, now Mrs. Wm. Wetlock, Jr., John, Effie, now Mrs. Hicks, and Anna, now Mrs. Jasper Birdsong. She joined the Christian Church about a month ago, and was a loyal member, and a good mother.
The funeral was held at the Mt. Zion Church and burial was made in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
