Father of Harry, Jr., and Virginia (Gatti) -died 1998. Was married to Leona - they had divorced by the 1940's. Also married to Thurid. He owned a Confectionery and Ice Cream Shop in Newark.

Lamerson- Harry E., suddenly at South Belmar, NJ , on Monday, July 11, 1960 of 230 North 6th St in Newark, NJ, husband of Thurid Effersoe, .....Relatives and friends, also members of the Fifth Ave Presbyterian Church, Newark, Lodge No 21 BPOE, and employees of the building construction division of the Dept. of Public Works of the city of Newark are invited to attend services at the Cole Funeral Home - 145 Roseville, Ave, Newark on Wed, July 13 at 8pm.

Harry E Lamerson of 230 N. Sixth St. died yesterday after a heart attack while vacationing in South Belmar. He was 71.
Mr. Lamerson had been a maintenance man for the Department of Public Works for 16 years. He was a native of Pottersville and lived here most of his life.
He was an elder and trustee of the Fifth Ave. Presbyterian Church and was a member of the Newark Lodge of Elks. Before going to work for the city, Mr. Lamerson for many years operated and ice cream parlor at Central Ave. and S. Eighth St.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Thurid Effersoe Lamerson; a son Harry of Dunellen, a daughter, Mrs. Otto Gatto (sic) of West Belmar; a brother Alvah of Gladstone, and a sister Mrs. Carrie Melich of Somerville.
Services will be tomorrow at 8p.m. at Cole Funeral Home, 145 Roseville Ave.
