Stella M. Wallis, a former resident of LaHarpe, died Saturday, Dec. 5, at Stillwater, Okla., where she had resided the past several years. She was 101.
She was married to William C. Wallis in 1902 in the LaHarpe. They farmed in the LaHarpe area for many years. Mr. Wallis died in 1942.
Survivors include a daughter in-law, Mrs. F.E. Wallis, Oklahoma City.
Graveside services were conducted at 1 p.m. today in Iola cemetery. Waugh-Yokum Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
