Patsy Ann Beck, age 73, of Centerville, died Friday, March 29, 2013, at St. Vincent Seton Specialty Hospital, Indianapolis, surrounded by her family. Born October 6, 1939, in Orange, Indiana, to Oliver Sane and Nancy Ellen Smith Alexander, she lived in Centerville most of her life. Patsy earned an associate degree from Porter Business College in 1959. She was a member of Centerville United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday school and was a Girl Scout Leader. Patsy was a member of the Calico Cooks Home Economics Club and was active in the PTO. She loved to read and spend time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Jerry D. Beck, to whom she was married November 29, 1959; daughters, Pam Estes of Centerville, Deby Bowling of Lake Milton, Ohio, Sandy (Jimmy) Coffey of Richmond, and Chelle Beck of Centerville; son, Jeff Beck of Centerville; grandchildren, Tisha Estes, Travis Estes, Joshua Bowling, Nathan Coffey, Jeremy Coffey, Ashlee Coffey, and Alex Nobbe; great-grandchildren, Kianna Dudas and Reagan Estes; sister, Faye "Renie" Onstott of Connersville; nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Margaret Baker and Nancy Steinbach. Visitation for Patsy Ann Beck will be from 12 to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 6, 2013, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 6, 2013, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home with Chaplain Dean DeVries officiating. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
