SPRING LAKE -- Mr. Cecil Owen Smith, 78, of Spring Lake died Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at Wake Medical Center.
Mr. Smith served in the U.S. Coast Guard and was a Korean War Veteran.
A graveside service will be held at Lafayette Memorial Park in Fayeteville at 3:00 PM on Sunday, August 24, 2008.
Cecil is survived by his wife, Louise of the home; brothers, Jerry and M. R. Smith, both of Angier; and sisters, Elma Smith of Spring Lake, Foy Weathers of Fuquay-Varina and Peggy Smith of Robbins.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 23, 2008 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Adcock Funeral Home in Spring Lake.
