She married Qullie Veral Overstreet, Jr. on August 5, 1947.
They had five children, Veral Overstreet, Julie (Overstreet) Johnson, Sam, David (Nat), and Bobby Overstreet.
She had to endure what no parents should, she and her husband, Junior lost a son, Nat at the age of 41.
She is surely missed by her family and friends.
