Alice Young Mikell was the daughter of N.G. Young and Golie (Brown) Young. She was born on January 28, 1921 along with her twin sister, Alma. They were born in Moultrie, GA.

Alice married John Paul Mikell on April 5, 1941. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversay on Friday, and the following Thursday he passed away.

Alice (Young) Mikell, wife of a Baptist minister, mother of three daughters, one son that died at birth, and seven grandchildren. Mother to: Faye (Mikell) Barfield, Barbara (Mikell) Riley, (deceased), John Paul Mikell, Jr. (deceased) and Latrelle (Mikell) Starling.

A woman of faith that loved her bible and lived a chistian life. Missed by so many loved ones!
