Mr. David Eugene Ragan, 57, of Talihina. passed away Thursday, March 28th, 2013 at his residence. Mr. Ragan was born in Fresno, California on August 24, 1955, the son of the late Oscar Ralph and Dorothy Marie (Pelley) Ragan. He served in the U.S. Army as a Pvt -E-2 in the Vietnam War era. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers; Jimmy Ray Ragan and Baby Boy Ragan. He is survived by his sisters; Linda Routson of Squaw Valley, California, June Schmidt of Reno, Nevada, Brenda Adams of Talihina, Oklahoma, Glenda Naleway of Auburn, California, brothers; Joe Ragan of Fresno, California, Robert Ragan of Fresno, California, and Oscar Ragan, Jr. of Caruthers, California, also numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside at New Talihina Cemetery, Talihina, Oklahoma. at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 1, 2013 with Brother Mark Cook officiating. Interment will be under the direction of Talihina Funeral Home.

Note: He was also preceded in death by his two Grandmothers, Susie Ellen Pelley and Margaret Elizabeth Ragan; and a Special Friend, Judith Ann Ellis. He went to Caruthers Union Elementary School and Caruthers Union High School, in Caruthers, California. He was also a Life Member of Disabled American Veterans.
