Former Waverly Resident Dies
Mrs. James Lloyd of Springfield, who was formerly Miss Cora Lindsey of this city, died at her home Sunday, December 4, at the age of 60 years. Mrs. Lloyd is survived by her husband; three sons, J. Lucius, Edward W.; and Owen H., all of Springfield; two daughters, Mrs. John Charmichael of Springfield and Mrs. W. S. Richey of Chicago; her mother, Mrs. E. L. Lindsey of Springfield; three sisters, Mrs. Ada Harris and Mrs. Pearl Miller of Springfield, and Mrs. Herbert Parker of Muskogee, Okla., and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the residence in Springfield at 1 o'clock Tuesday, December 6, and at Third Presbyterian church at 1:30, the pastor, Rev. H. M. Hildebrandt, officiating. The remains were brought to Waverly for interment in East cemetery.
