MRS. IDRESS COOKSON

Idress Ellen Williams was born in Richmond, Va., Apr. 18, 1839, and died at the home of her son, Wm. Cookson, at Bowling Green, Ohio on Sunday, Mar. 24, 1918.

At the age of 18 she was united in marriage to Milo Cookson in Hancock Co. Ohio, to which union six children were born, three of which preceded her to the grave. About 36 years ago she came to Clare Co. which has been her home most of the time since. Her husband dying 22 years ago, she has since resided with her children.

She leaves two daughters, one son, five sisters, two brothers and a host, of grand children and great grand children.

The funeral was held at the Congregational church in Clare on Tuesday afternoon, March 26, Rev. T. E. Bennett, pastor of the church officiating, with burial in Cherry Grove besides the husband.
