SANDERSVILLE, Aug. 20 - Funeral services for Mrs. Herman C. Layton, 45, Sandersville, who died today after a long illness, will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Sandersville Methodist Church, the Rev. George E. Clary Jr, and the Rev. E. G. Orahood officiating.
Burial will be in Brownwood Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Benjamin Thomas Layton, Sandersville; six sisters, Mrs. Mattie Mae Garbutt, Warner Robins, and Mrs. Johnnie Holmes, Mrs. Robbie Hood, Mrs. Wilma Giles, Mrs. Lila Belle Ward, and Mrs. S.E. Brooks, all of Sandersville, and two brothers, Forrest Veal, Macon, and Julian T. Veal, Sandersville.
