Elizabeth MARSHALL (daughter of John Marshall) and Samuel JANUARY, and lived many years in East Maysville, Kentucky, in the house now occupied by Col. Stanton. *Mr. January was interred in the private burying ground near his house*. I examined the lot in 1884 and could find NO STONE to the memory of ANY of the family. When a child, I remember visiting the family with my mother. *After the death of Mr. January, his widow removed to Cynthiana, which became the home of his posterity.
