Mrs. James M. Marr, Sr.

Mrs. Grace Lee Marr, aged 64 years, of near Loami, died Tuesday, Jan. 29, at 1:50 p.m., at Memorial hospital, Springfield, where she had been a patient for 10 days.

Mrs. Marr was born in Eve, Ky., September 14, 1892, the daughter of F. L. and Delphia Cordelia Bennett.

She was married to James Marion Marr, Sr., at Greensburg, Ky., July 7, 1912.

Mr. and Mrs. Marr resided on a farm northwest of Waverly for a few years, before moving to their present location.

She is survived by her husband and the following children: Mrs. Lucille King of Edwardsville, Dencil Marr of Waverly, Mrs. E. M. Cole, Jr., of East Greenwich, R. I., John A. Marr and James M. Marr, Jr., both of New Berlin and Mrs. Leonard F. Newton of Princeton, N. J. Also surviving are ten grandchildren, and one great grandchild; and three sisters who reside in Kentucky.

She was preceded in death by one grandchild, two sisters and one brother. Mrs. Marr was a member of the Loami Methodist church.

Funeral services will be held this afternoon, Friday, at 1:00 o'clock, in the Loami Methodist church, the pastor, Rev. Charles DeLay, officiating. Burial will be at East cemetery, at Waverly.
