Oliver Adkins, 88, of Georgetown, died Friday of cancer at Millsboro Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Millsboro.
Mr Adkins had worked for the State Highway Department (now Delaware Department of Transportation) for 18 years. He retired in 1973. He was an Army veteran of World War II. His wife, Mary E. Holston Adkins, died in 1970.
