Charles was retired from Weirton Steel Corporation where he worked in the Tin Mill and the Water Department. He was also a member of the Weirton Steel 25 year Club, and a former member of the Odd Fellows and Boy Scouts of America.
He was Protestant by faith.

Friends will be received on Monday, May 11th from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 P.M. at the Mullenbach Funeral Home 669 Main St. Follansbee, WV where services will be held on Tuesday, May 12th at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Tom Deane officiating.
Interment will follow in St. Johns Cemetery in Colliers, WV.
