Little Alva M'Pike Passes Away

Iva, only daughter of Alvin McPike, of Sycamore, passed away at the home of her grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Jones, in Sycamore, where she had lived since the death of her mother a few years ago, Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock. She had suffered four weeks from typhoid fever and inflammatory rheumatism. She was aged nine years.

The funeral servies of little Iva McPike occured Thursday morning. Short services were held at the home of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Jones, at Sycamore, at 9 o'clock, followed by services at the Reformed Church, Rev. A. C.Shuman, officiating. Burial was made at the Sycamore cemetery. The pallbearers were Fred Koehl, Russell Ulrich, William Leiby and Carl Klahr.
