KATHERINE J. HARTNUP, 89, of Kendallville, died Thursday, March 21, 2013, in Lutheran Life Villages, Kendallville. She moved to this area in 2007, coming from Coldwater Lake after spending most of her life in Fort Wayne. She retired as a court supervisor for Allen County. She was a 50 year member of the Eastern Star Lodge #432 in Fort Wayne. Surviving are a son, John (Tami) Hartnup of Fort Wayne; daughter, Judi Armstrong of Kendallville; three grandchildren; three sisters. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard W. Hartnup. Service is 11 a.m. Tuesday at Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville. Visitation is from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Fort Wayne.
