Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Liska, 81, of 1814 Clinton ave., who died at her home Monday after a long illness, will be held tomorrow at 11 a.m. in the chapel at 5844 Cermak rd. Interment will follow in Bohemian National Cemetery. A resident of this area for many years, Mrs. Liska was a member of Bohemian Rebekah Odd Fellows Lodge; Golden Crown Camp, Royal Neighbors of America; Lodge Mir Cechie, C.S.A., and Lodge Rozkvet Svobody, C.S.A.. She is survived by her husband, Alois; a daughter, Mrs. Rose Marie Parker; four sons, LadislaV, Frank, Otto and Edwin, and seven grandchildren.

Daughter of Peter Braun and Margarete Braun. Anna, her mother and siblings (Maria, Joseph, Paul, Hedwig, Johannes, Margaretta, Maximilian and Arthur arrived in NYC from Antwerp on the ship Friesland on 10-5-1897. Her father, Peter had arrived earlier, 4-28-1897 from Antwerp on the ship Southwark.

Married Alois Liska on 4-29-1900 in Chicago.

Known Children:

Rose M. Liska Abt 1902 married Edward H. Kabon. Edward died 1926 and is buried in Liska family plot. Rose, current thinking, later married a Parker.

Ladislav "Laddie" 1-28-1903 married Alice Kuthan. He is buried in the Kubb Kuthan grave site at BNC.

Frank Liska 9-26-1904 to 6-3-1995.

Silvester Liska 1907 - 2-1-1908, buried in Liska family plot.

Otto E. (middle name Louise used too) Liska 7-16-1912 to 3-31-1981 married Alice Dresrel on 6-13-1940 in Cook County.

Edwin Liska 2-11-1914 to 1-30-1996.
