Mrs. Johnson Dies at Hospital In Philadelphia,
Mrs. Jessie E. Johnson, 56, wife of Clyde Johnson of East Randolph, died Wednesday at 12:30 p.m., at Hahnemann Hospital, Philadelphia, from complications following heart surgery. Mrs. Johnson underwent surgery a week ago Wednesday and appeared to be recovering satisfactorily from the operation until complications developed.
The daughter of John and Alice Reigle Yeisley, Mrs. Johnson was born at Mifflinburg, Pa., August 1, 1896. She had lived on the old Napoli Road, near East Randolph since her marriage to Mr. Johnson in 1912. She was a member of the Napoli Home Bureau.
Surviving are her husband, two sons, Richard at home and Dean of R. F. D. 2, Randolph; two brothers, George Leiser of East Akron, Ohio, and John Yeisley of Bradford, Pa.; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Rarick of Kennedy and Mrs. Tonar Gunsallus of Mifflinburg, Pa.; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The body arrived at Randolph Thursday and was taken to the Myers Funeral Home where funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m., with the Rev. Charles N. Geisler, Jr., officiating. Burial will be in the Kennedy Cemetery.
