GLEN ROCK Joseph L. "Joe" Allison, 59, died Monday, October 31, 2011, of natural causes at his home. Following cremation by the Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock, all services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Joe was born on February 27, 1952, in York, a son of the late Robert L. "Knobby" and Betty J. (Heyn) Allison. He graduated in the Class of 1970 from Susquehannock High School and was a self-employed musician playing with several local bands over the years including the Carroll County Ramblers and Bob Paisley & the Southern Grass. He leaves a sister, Kathy A. Meily of Jonestown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 610 Community Way, Lancaster, PA 17603.
