Otha "Tootie" Lockmiller, 86, of Clovis, died Wednesday, March 30, 2005, at his home.

He was born on Sept. 9, 1918, in Walters, Okla., to Sam and Victoria Stewart Lockmiller.

He married Pauline McCarson on Oct. 8, 1939, in Roswell.
He moved to New Mexico as a small child. He farmed northwest of Ranchvale and he was an electrician. He was a member of Kingswood United Methodist Church in Clovis and the 50 plus group.

He was preceded in death his parents; his wife; a sister, Etoy House; a great-grandson, Tell Northcutt.

Survivors include a son, LaRoy Lockmiller (and wife, Deanna) of Ranchvale; a daughter, Kayren Richardson (Jerry) of Pineville, La.; three brothers, Winford, Perky, and Sterling Lockmiller, all of Clovis; two sisters, Marjorie Preston and Norma Townsend, both of Clovis; seven grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

Herbert Bergstrom and Brad Reeves will officiate the services.

Burial will be at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens in Clovis.
Pallbearers are grandsons and great-grandsons, Brett, Corbin and Aaron Lockmiller, Devin Richardson, Todd and Tyrell Northcutt, Tim Farris, Troy Vincent, Brian Jameson, and Mike Clement.

Arrangements are by Steed-Todd Funeral Home of Clovis.
