Edna R. Day, 81, of Susque-View Home in Lock Haven, died Friday, June 20, 1997, at Lock Haven Hospital.
She was born Sept. 16, 1915, in Greenburr, Clinton County, a daughter of the late Isaac K. and Laura A. Embick Bletz. On March 25, 1933, in Millheim, she married Howard A. Day, who died Feb. 18, 1997.
She was formerly employed by Sylvania of Mill Hall, from which she retired. She was a Protestant.
She is survived by three daughters, Esther Scheirer of State College, Phyllis Fidler of Bellefonte and Doris Van Horne of Lock Haven; a son, Harry W. of Lock Haven; a sister, Esther Day of Madisonburg; a brother, Ardell Bletz of Danville; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, Loganton.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Mark Erskine officiating.
Burial will be in Evangelical Cemetery in Rebersburg.
